Meals on Wheels of Solano County provided 141,506 meals for seniors living in our community. An average of 11,792 meals a month from July 2009 to June 2010, was served to our seniors by our wonderful volunteers and staff. Collectively, they visited and checked on our seniors on a daily basis.

Meal Service

  • Any homebound senior 60 years of age and older, who lives in Solano County may qualify to receive home delivered meals.

  • Any Senior 60 years of age, and older, is welcome to join us for a nutritious mid day meal at our congregate dining sites located in Solano County.

  • Congregate Dining is sharing a meal and socializing with other seniors.

Volunteers

  • Recruiting volunteers to deliver meals to our clients over the lunch hour Monday through Friday. Can you volunteer to deliver meals for Meals on Wheels for Solano County?

  • We are currently recruiting for new board members and Committee Members to join us at our once a month meetings.
